Who are we?

​GIDAS is a network of clubs located nationwide to educate about the implications of modern genomics and personalized medicine, with a strong emphasis on genetics and genetic diseases.
GIDAS is a high school branch of miRcore, a non-profit 501(c)3 genetic research organization affiliated with the University of Michigan. 
What do we do?
Learn
About genetics and the developing field of computational biology. Practice computational biology skills.
Research
A preselected disease of focus for genetic patterns and possible implications of results using biomedical data.
Connect
Volunteer for microgrant fundraisers that fund the research work of actual scientists.
